About

Xavian Brown

My motivation for starting this company stemmed from the lack of outlets for positive, transformative growth. Having grown up in an environment marked by various forms of lack or deprivation—whether economic, social, or emotional. I was stuck in an environment that seemed to mainly breed incarceration or just negative thinking and or results in general, some would fall victim trying to change a situation for the positive, and others fall victim from a lack thereof. This brought a constant sense of paranoia. The high likelihood of becoming a statistic, whether through a slow kill from the harsh realities of the environment or the dangerous choices that were always presented, was a daily concern. All of this created a deep awareness of how easily one could fall into the traps of destructive patterns developed from lack of an outlet or proper guidance, which ultimately can lead to death. I’ve faced mass amounts of isolation through the breakdown of my family, friends and homes—abandoned by those I loved, betrayed by many close to me, and subjected to abuse and neglect in every form: emotional, mental, physical, and financial. I learned to survive without various basic needs that money can’t buy, while also solely figuring out how to secure what it can. Over the years, I’ve witnessed countless changes and losses, which have caused me profound mental anguish—far more than I could ever capture in a short paragraph. However, with the graceful right hand of God, I have not only survived but, compared to my past, have thrived. Through the painful lessons, I gained God-given wisdom, which inspired me to create an avenue for others to gain insight into life’s challenges and learn how to grow from them. Without God as the staple in my life, I wouldn’t have made it beyond the place I came from and the many circumstances I had to maneuver, alone. That’s why I speak on him so much. I don’t look like what I’ve been through, and that’s a testament not everyone has.

The constant trials I faced cultivated a powerful strength within me, though I didn’t understand it at the time. I’m fortunate that God allowed me to transform that pain into power, using it in a righteous and authentic way—one that is uniquely tailored to my relationship with him, myself and others. My hope is to be an instrument in your life as well—to help you understand, develop, and tap into that same inner strength and power that God has granted us all. I wish for you to let life’s challenges shape you for the better, just as they have shaped me—and continue to do so. During the journey of becoming our best selves, life often presents challenges that seem designed to tear us down. However, with a shift in perspective, what’s torn down is usually just preparation for a beneficial rebuild. We can tilt our focus on these experiences as opportunities to add valuable tools to our life’s tool belt. This tool belt, forged through adversity, not only helps us grow, but also equips us to navigate and fix the many circumstances we face. Over time, others will come to appreciate the tools you’ve developed. But to build this tool belt, you had to endure each challenge, piece by piece—often without realizing that you were being prepared for moments when you and others would need those very tools. That’s now where I.T.M comes in.
