We are all constantly evolving and growing. Think about it – when something is in the process of being made or created, it is in a state of “being in the making.” This applies to us as well. Throughout our lives, as we strive to become our best selves, we face many challenges that can feel like they are tearing us down. However, if we shift our perspective, we can view these experiences as opportunities to add valuable tools to our personal “life tool belt.”

Though enduring these struggles piece by piece may be difficult in the moment, each hardship equips us with unique skills and insights that will ultimately benefit not only ourselves, but also the people around us who may one day need those specific tools from our belt. This is the essence of being “in the making” – the ongoing process of personal growth and development that prepares us for the road ahead, even if we can’t yet see the full picture. This is where the concept of “I.T.M.” (being In The Making) comes into play.
